A Beautiful Day in 1976 (poem)

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Within each of our Christian lives there are moments that have seen change in our faith.  As mentioned in prior posts, a major change for me took place forty-one years ago while listening to Hal Lindsey talk about his book The Liberation of Planet Earth.  How to liberate ourselves from the pain, hopelessness, and frustration of sin; showing us how to clear away the barricades that separate man from God.

I have unending appreciation and gratitude for Inge, who had given me a Hal Lindsey book, and then sat next to me a few days later at the Hal Lindsey talk.  The Lord blessed me by Inge’s Christian desire to assist me in finding my spiritual direction.

Along a Path (Poem)

Along a Path
Each day we walk along a path
a lane paved with the Lord’s words
With every footstep we strive to be right,
to travel faithfully in the Lord’s light
With each step we are tested
for in our Savior we are vested
Yes, human vision
and human values
are like stones that test our stride
Thankfully, the Lord Jesus
is by our side
