February 14th is…

While Valentine’s Day is the ‘serious’ day of the year when we are reminded that love is in the air, we should also remember that love should also be ‘fun’ for the mind and heart.  That’s why it is important to remember that February 14th is also Ferris Wheel Day; celebrating the birthday of George Washington Gale Ferris, Jr., a civil engineer who made the first ferris wheel at the World’s Colombian Exhibition in Chicago in 1893.

This year take your love to new heights…and give fun a whirl!

  1. What a wonderful post, Steve. I’m glad you gave those of us who may not “do” Valentines’ Day something else (fun) to think about! Happy Valentine’s, and Ferris Wheel Day, to you and your Mrs.
